About the methodology

The technique is designed to identify the tendency (disposition) of a person to certain professions types. The questionnaire consists of 20 alternative judgments. You need to choose one of the two activities specified in the question.

«Human – nature»

Members of these professions share one very important quality which is love of nature. But love is not contemplative. Which have almost all people, considering nature the most favorable environment for recreation, and active connected with the knowledge of its laws and their application. It’s one thing to love animals and plants, play with them, and enjoy them. And quite another is regularly, it means to care for them day after day, to observe, treat, walk, regardless of personal time and plans. The specialist should not only know everything about living organisms, but also predict possible changes in them and take measures. What is required of the individual is initiative and self-reliance in solving specific problems, care, patience and foresight. The person working in the sphere «Man - nature» should be calm and balanced.

Technology, as a subject of work, presents a wide range of opportunities for innovation, fiction, creativity, so the quality of practical thinking becomes important. Technical imagination, the ability to mentally connect and separate technical objects and their parts are important conditions for success in this field.

«Human – human»

The main content of work in professions such as «Man - man» is reduced to interaction between people. If this relationship doesn’t work out, it isn’t going to work out. The qualities needed to work with people: a stable, good mood in the process of working with people, the need for communication, the ability to put oneself in the place of another person, quickly understand the intentions, thoughts, mood of people, ability to understand human relationships, good memory (ability to keep in mind the names and features of many people), patience.

«Human – symbol system»

We meet with signs much more often than we usually imagine. These are numbers, codes, conditionals, natural or artificial languages, drawings, tables of formula. In any case, the person perceives the sign as a symbol of a real object or phenomenon. Therefore, it is important for a specialist who works with signs to be able to abstract from the real physical, chemical, mechanical properties of objects, and on the other hand to represent and perceive the characteristics of real phenomena or objects behind signs. To work successfully in any profession of this type, you need to be able to mentally dive into the world, seemingly dry designations and focus on the information they carry. The special requirements of this type of profession require attention.
